1. What this policy covers

Selah is a private workspace for worship teams. This policy explains how we handle song sheets, images, annotations, and other user content when someone says that content may infringe copyright. It applies alongside the Terms and User Content Policy and Privacy Policy.

2. Upload and team sharing

Before uploading or sharing content, a user must separately confirm that they own the content or have the rights, licence, or permission needed for that particular action. An upload confirmation does not grant permission to share content with a team. Users remain responsible for obtaining the permissions that apply to their content and intended audience.

Selah uses a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, technically reproduce, and display content to the team members and invited collaborators selected by the user, only to operate the service. This statement does not replace a licence from a copyright owner.

3. Prohibited content

Do not upload or share content that is unlawful, malware, or that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Do not use Selah to distribute pirated songbooks or recordings or to bypass a publisher's access controls.

4. Copyright reports

A reporter may use the copyright report form or email roalex1995@gmail.com. Please include claimant identity and contact information, a description of the work, the Selah content link or locator, jurisdiction, a good-faith declaration, and a typed signature. Selah assigns a case ID when an authenticated report is accepted by the service.

We may request more information, limit access while a report is reviewed, or contact the uploader. We do not promise a particular outcome or response time, and this policy does not make a legal finding about any report.

5. Counter-notices and restoration

An uploader may contact us with a good-faith explanation and evidence of permission or another lawful basis. An administrator may record a counter-notice, restoration, withdrawal, or other review decision after checking the available information. No content is automatically removed or restored by a client device.

6. Case privacy and records

Report claimant details are kept in a restricted case record. Ordinary users cannot read or edit copyright cases or their audit events. Authorized administrators may review the record for support and legal review. Case status starts at RECEIVED; statutory sufficiency and jurisdictional timelines are not determined by this page.

8. Repeat-infringer policy

We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when credible copyright enforcement events show a repeated pattern of infringement. We consider report quality, withdrawals, duplicate reports, and the uploader's response. Decisions are reviewed by an administrator rather than imposed by an automatic strike counter.
